Dr. Zafar has been working as a GP and Community Surgeon, specialising in minor surgery, in Blackburn with Darwen since 2000.
He completed his GP hospital training at Fairfield General Hospital in Bury and subsequently served as a Registrar at Minden Medical Centre, also in Bury.
Prior to becoming a GP, he completed his fellowship in surgery at the Royal College of Surgeons Edinburgh. He received training in various surgical specialties, including Orthopaedic surgery, General surgery, Urology, and ENT, at Fairfield General Hospital, Bradford Royal Infirmary, and East Lancashire Hospitals NHS Trust.
Dr. Zafar serves as the Lead Clinician for East Lancashire Deep Vein Thrombosis and Primary Care Ultrasound Services.
