What to expect on your first appointment ?

After booking online or via phone, you’ll receive an automated email confirming your appointment. We recommend arriving 15 minutes early so our staff can seat you and notify the GP of your arrival. When it’s time, our reception team will escort you to the consultation room for your appointment

After your consultation, a summary report will be sent to your email and shared with your registered GP. Any prescriptions will be sent directly to your chosen pharmacy, and if a referral to a specialist is required, we will ensure the referral letter is sent promptly to the appropriate provider, keeping your care seamless and coordinated.

Frequently asked questions

Ultrasound uses sound waves to create images of soft tissues and organs, while X-rays use radiation to capture images of bones and certain dense structures. Both are non-invasive imaging tools but are used for different diagnostic purposes.

Yes. Ultrasound is completely safe and radiation-free. X-rays involve low levels of radiation, and modern equipment ensures exposure is minimal and controlled.

Many private clinics accept self-referrals, but some scans may require a referral depending on the type and reason for the imaging. It’s best to check with the clinic beforehand.

Preparation varies: for some ultrasounds (like abdominal scans) you may need to fast or have a full bladder. X-rays usually require no preparation, though you may be asked to remove jewelry or metal items.

Results are typically available shortly after the scan. Some clinics provide a preliminary report on the same day, while a full radiologist report may take 24–48 hours.
